COVID-19: Health & Safety

I want to take a moment to personally offer our support to all families in our community.

We at CreArt appreciate the trust that our community has placed in us for the past five years since CreArt was founded, and the support that you continue to provide to our school  through these difficult times. As always, the health and safety of our children, teachers, and families is our primary goal and of our highest concern.

Given this global health crisis with COVID-19, we have been closely following guidelines from the CDC, the Department of Social Services – Child Care Licensing Division, and the Marin Public Health Department. I want to assure you that we are working diligently, every day, to maintain a safe emotional and physical environment for our children, teachers, and families, and to ensure we practice our social responsibility in our outer community.

We have taken our cleaning and sanitation standards to an even higher level then before, with practices that include:

  • Daily health checks in all staff and children attending school
  • Constant hand washing
  • Hand sanitizer use when hand washing is not available
  • Sanitizing and disinfecting toys and material after each use
  • Increased cleaning and disinfecting all classroom surfaces, including frequent touched areas such as tables, shelves, sinks, and door knobs

In addition, to comply with new guidelines and regulations, our classrooms have a maximum of 12 students in a cohort.

Please know with confidence that we are doing our best to ensure a safe environment to all.

As a mother, I know that many families will choose to keep their children home, away from school at this time and perhaps start or resume their schooling in the near future. To you, know that we are here, looking forward to welcoming and serving you when you are ready.

Thank you for your support, patience, and understanding as we all look forward to the end of these difficult times.

If you have any concerns about your child’s safety, do not hesitate to contact me directly at creartpreschool@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Patricia Van Der Beek

Tuition Information

The first month tuition is due in full prior to starting at CreArt and is pro-rated according to how much your child attends; a credit will be reflected in the following month’s tuition invoice.

Statements will be delivered on the 26th of each month and payment is due on the last day of each month. Payments received after the last day of the month will incur a $15.00 late fee. Payment received after the 5th business day of the month will incur an extra late charge of $15.00 per day, up to 30 days. A 30-day written notice will be provided if there are any changes in tuition rates.

Withdrawal: CreArt requires written notification at least 30 days in advance when a child is to be withdrawn from school or when a child’s schedule will change significantly. We do not pro-rate the last month of tuition. A full month will be charged if a child is withdrawn from the program without completing the full month. The deposit paid upon admission will be returned to parents on the last day of the child’s attendance or applied towards the last month of tuition.
